We are consumed by the material, fast paced world and we’re struggling to keep up. We have never been this disconnected from nature and from knowing who we truly are and why we’re here. We have never been so disconnected from each other. We have never felt under so much pressure to look, think, work and live a certain way. In Kundalini Yoga we use many self care breathing exercises and techniques (known as pranayama), to help you to reach a neutral mind. By consciously breathing and focussing on the heart you can begin to relax, and leave the busyness of the mind behind. You’ll be amazed how quick and effective it is.  You can change how you feel in just a few minutes. In Kundalini Yoga we use many breathing techniques such as breath of fire, four part breath, cannon breath, 8 part breath, sitali breath, alternate nostril breathing all which have different effects on our body and state of mind, but commonly they will help you to balance the head with the heart, relax and feel a sense of peace and harmony. Combined with kriya yoga and meditation, Kundalini Yoga is a fast and effective way for you to shut off from the outside world, shut off your mind and negative thought patterns and really get to love what is inside.

Breathing mindfully whilst focussing on the heart will instantly help you to shut off from the negative self talk and constant chatter of the mind.
